Another Message from the Universe

I’ve written before about my Message from the Universe. It might have been a coincidence. Maybe my brain is making things up, finding patterns where there aren’t any. Humans are great at that.

But this has happened more than once. Here’s another message I’ve received.

The Universe’s Message:
Set your sights on something and do it!

In April of 2016, I was wondering how and where I can use persuasion tools that I was learning about.

Later that night, I picked up “The Magic of Thinking Big” by David J Schwartz. The book reminded me of the obvious idea that we need to set a goal if we want to get somewhere. My goal was to create this site, to discover more about persuasion, and share it with you here.

I asked a question and received the Universe’s answer that same day. Impressive.

Scott Adams would argue that it’s better to create a system, not a goal, because goals can move or disappear. I can buy that. It doesn’t change the message: if you want to grow beyond where you are, you need to set your sights on something larger and work towards it. Build your talent stack, Adams would say.

Have you learned something from the coincidences in your life?

How are you building your talent stack?
